July 22, 2020As I closed the cover on "Maternity & Newborn Nursing", I felt like I had gained a solid foundation in the basics of caring for expectant mothers and their little ones. The book's clear explanations and practical tips made it easy to follow along, even as a new nurse. While some of the chapters did feel a bit too lengthy or repetitive at times, overall I found the information to be relevant and helpful. With this book under my belt, I'm feeling more confident in my ability to provide top-notch care to moms-to-be and their newborns - but perhaps it could have been tightened up just a bit for maximum impact.
