I found "Desain Tata Ruang Kamar Di Pesantren" to be an intriguing read, but ultimately, it fell short of my expectations. The book's approach to designing rooms in Islamic boarding schools (pesantrens) using an ergonomic and environmentally psychology-focused methodology was thought-provoking, especially given the importance of these institutions in Indonesian society. However, the execution felt a bit dry and lacking in depth, with too much repetition and not enough concrete examples or case studies to illustrate the author's points. The result was a book that left me feeling somewhat unfulfilled, like I was just scratching the surface of this complex topic.
