I just finished reading "Handbook in Research and Evaluation" and I have to say that it's a solid, but not spectacular resource for those looking to dive deeper into the world of research methodology. The book is well-structured and covers a wide range of topics, from the basics of research design to more advanced techniques such as data analysis and interpretation. While the author does an excellent job of breaking down complex concepts into manageable chunks, I found some sections to be overly theoretical and lacking in real-world examples, which made it difficult for me to fully connect with the material. Overall, I would recommend this book to students or researchers looking for a comprehensive guide, but I think it could benefit from more practical applications and fewer jargon-heavy explanations.

I just finished reading "Handbook in Research and Evaluation" and I must say it's a comprehensive guide for anyone looking to conduct research or evaluate programs, policies, or interventions. The book is well-structured and easy to follow, making complex concepts accessible to readers with varying levels of experience. The authors provide numerous examples, case studies, and real-world scenarios that illustrate key principles and methodologies, which was incredibly helpful in solidifying my understanding of the material. My only criticism is that some chapters felt a bit too dense or technical for non-experts, but overall I found this handbook to be an invaluable resource that will likely remain on my reference shelf for years to come.

I just finished reading "Handbook in Research and Evaluation" and I have mixed feelings about it. The chapters on experimental design, survey research, and data analysis are particularly well-written and easy to follow. However, I felt that the book could have benefited from a more engaging narrative style - at times it feels like a dense textbook rather than an enjoyable read. Additionally, some of the concepts and theories presented seem to be somewhat outdated or overly simplistic, which detracts from the overall impact of the material. Overall, I would recommend this book to researchers and evaluators who are looking for a comprehensive reference guide, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily a must-read unless you're specifically working in the field.
