September 01, 2023This conference proceedings is an insightful compilation of research papers and presentations from the 2nd International Conference Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang, focusing on handling noncommunicable diseases. The book delves into various aspects of NCDs, covering topics such as prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management strategies. I found the discussions on the impact of lifestyle factors, environmental influences, and socioeconomic determinants on NCD prevalence to be particularly thought-provoking. While some sections felt a bit dense for non-experts like myself, overall the content was engaging and informative, offering valuable perspectives from international experts in the field.

January 04, 2023I just finished reading this conference proceedings, and I must say it was an interesting but somewhat lacking experience. The book provided a comprehensive overview of the various topics related to non communicable diseases (NCDs), which is a pressing issue in Indonesia and globally. However, the writing style and presentation were sometimes dry and lacked depth, making it hard to get fully engaged with the material. Despite this, I appreciated the diverse range of speakers and researchers who contributed to the conference, offering unique perspectives on NCD prevention and management. Overall, I would say that the book was a solid 3 out of 5 stars - informative but not particularly memorable or impactful in terms of its storytelling or overall impact.

January 05, 2020I just finished reading this conference proceedings, and I must say it was an engaging and informative read. The book provided a comprehensive overview of the latest research and findings on handling noncommunicable diseases, which is a critical issue in today's world. The papers presented were well-written, easy to understand, and covered a wide range of topics from epidemiology to treatment and prevention strategies. While I felt that some chapters could have been more concise, overall the book was well-structured and provided valuable insights for professionals and students alike. It's definitely a good resource for those interested in public health and noncommunicable diseases.
